From a belief in Perak's craft to Ruang Karya.
WIBAWA LEGACY started in 2022 with a simple belief: Perak's Labu Sayong pottery tradition deserved a place in modern Malaysian life — not just in museums, but in homes, offices, and classrooms. What began as a small effort to keep that craft visible has grown into Ruang Karya, our retail and programming arm, now reaching individuals and organisations across the country.
Today that work runs on two tracks at once. We sell ready-to-paint ceramic sets through our Shopee and TikTok storefronts and four Perak stockists, and we run guided sessions and multi-day cultural programmes with government agencies and community organisations — Wanita Perak, PAWE, PERSERA, Perpustakaan Awam and Komuniti Gunung Lang among them.
Alongside that, we continue to grow our own culture-preservation efforts, with several initiatives in development — part of a broader commitment to keeping Perak's pottery heritage active and accessible, not just documented.

Heritage as substance, not decoration
Labu Sayong provenance is the reason this practice exists, so it stays on the surface of everything we make rather than being reduced to a pattern or a tagline.
Two doors, one brand
A family buying a set and an agency planning a festival want completely different things from us. Both get a direct route in, and both get the same clay.
Real people answer
There is no ticketing system and no queue. You reach a named person on WhatsApp, and that person sees your booking through.
Honest about where things happen
Sets are sold on Shopee and TikTok Shop, and at four stockists. Workshops happen at Jelapang or at your site. We point you to the right place rather than pretending everything lives here.

Muhammad Faris bin Mohd Shukri
Faris co-founded WIBAWA LEGACY and leads Marketing & Sales, helping bring Perak's ceramic heritage to a wider audience. He works to make sure the brand's message stays true to its roots as it reaches new people and new markets.

Uzayr co-founded WIBAWA LEGACY and heads Accounting & Finance, keeping the business on solid footing as it grows. He also oversees the online shops, making sure customers get a smooth experience from order to delivery, and runs Kedai Web WL, the company’s web-design arm.
